Nine years ago this month, the Shock and Awe Show presented by Cheney and Bush Imagination Studios. What one Neo-Con predicted would be a cake walk has cost a hundred thousand Iraqi lives, nearly 4,500 American military deaths and many more maimed for life, and a price tag that may, by the time the last bill is in, reach $3,000,000,000,000.
And we never did find the WMDs. Our preemptive invasion of Iraq will be a black mark on America's history, a turning point in attitude in behavior that flies in the face of the very values we claim to honor - democracy and freedom! The Neo-Cons continue to move down the dark path of Empire and Fascism.
